Multi split system installation

Active Sub floor ventilation systems are recommended by specialists in high humidity areas for a safer and healthier home. It helps the structure of your building last for extensive periods of time.

  • Prevents mould from forming
  • Great for areas with high humidity levels
  • Prevents dampness and rotting of floorboards and building structure
  • Lower the chances or the structural integrity of a house decreasing

Home Effects:

Moisture and mould can damage and decompose wood components of your house such as floor joists, wall studs, floor boards and even the wall sheathing such as gyprock. Often the issues may not even be noticeable to an untrained person, but if left for too long, it may cause irreversible and costly damage.

High moisture levels can even lower the structural integrity of concrete flooring, walls, reinforcements, etc. high moisture content dilutes the water-cement ratios in the top layers of concrete and after evaporation creates air pockets. With just 10% more of the air trapped inside, the concrete loses 40% of its strength.

Health Effects:

High humidity and dampness are the perfect conditions for the growing and spreading of different types of mould. Inhaling mould fragments or spores can put you and your family at a high risk. The effects vary in severity and may start off with light symptoms such as sneezing, skin irritation, headaches, but can even range to chronic respiratory illnesses such as asthma. For someone with pre-existing respiratory health issues the effect of mould in the air, can be very severe.

Air Quality Testing

Having perfectly clean air at your home/workplace/school may not seem like such an issue, but considering you spend 90% of your day at home relaxing, working at an office or studying at school, it can have quite noticeable effects. Considering that the air flow inside is much lower than outdoors, the quality of the air in your home, school or office can be 2-5 times worse than the worst outside air. The air testing that is done by us using specialised technology can detect even the slightest issues that cannot be seen, smelt or felt in any other way.

Importance of clean air:

Having fresh and clean air inside your home/workplace reduces risk of respiratory illnesses, viruses and even common colds. Breathing clean air also helps reduce the effect of existing conditions such as Asthma. The testing can also detect possible viruses and mould particles in the air which can be quite severe in some cases. When your workplace, school/university or any other place of study, also keeps up the quality of the air, where you spend the other large part of your day, it could really have great effects on your health. Especially with the current global pandemic situation, keeping the air in your workplace clean can prevent illnesses and reduce the chances or workers and students taking sick days off.
